For Immediate Release (7/21/2010):

Today, the Lafayette Girls Softball Association announces that it will now be conducting business as the Front Range Girls Softball Association.  This name change recognizes that our organization is made up of families that come from across the Front Range here in Colorado.  It also recognizes the partnership that we have established with two particular communities in the Front Range, the city of Lafayette and the Town of Erie.  Beginning with the 2010-2011 competitive softball season, the Front Range Girls Softball Association will be made up of Tigers and Warriors – nicknames that are well known to the Erie and Lafayette communities.  We will be fielding teams at various age groups including 10 and under, 12 and under, 14 and under, 16 and under, and 18 and under.  Some teams will call themselves Tigers and some will call themselves Warriors.  All will be operating as part of a family of teams organized by the Front Range Girls Softball Association.
