Mike Thomson is a 40 year-old trial attorney who practices law with the firm Purvis, Gray & Murphy, LLP in Boulder, Colorado.  Mike lives in Erie with his wife Teresa Steele and his children.

In 2006, Mike will be entering his fourth season as a head coach in the Lady Warriors organization. 

In 2003, Mike coached the Warriors (Blue) 16 and under B team.  The Warriors (Blue) won the 2003 Spring Fling in Loveland, Colorado and the Summer's End Tournament in Arvada.

 

In 2004, Mike coached the Warriors (Thomson) 16 and under A team.  The team won the Gold Division in the Colorado Classic and placed third in the Spring Fling and Spring Stampede.

In 2005, Mike coached the Warriors (Thomson) 18A team. The team placed third in the Rage Diamond Rumble and the Spring Fling and three players from the team were voted to the USSSA All-Star game.

Mike's teams are trained in speed, agility, and power by former NFL player Jamie Heiner at Impact Sports Performance in Broomfield. Their indoor practice facility is at the same location. Outdoor practices are held at Centaurus High School in Lafayette.

Mike's coaching style will never be mistaken for that of one Bobby Knight.  He prefers to be seen as a teacher who's goal it is to teach athletes the fundamentals of the game and he strives to provide leadership for the athletes by example.
