Mike Lujan:  - This is my 5th year with the Lady Warriors' organization. My first year was in 2002 as a Board Member for the 10u. Now I have been Head Coach/or Co-Coach for 4 years and loving every minute of it. I always enjoyed playing sports, but nothing compares to teaching young girls how to play ball! I have lettered in Football, Basketball, Soccer and Baseball at Centaurus High School.  I started coaching competitive boys and girls soccer for the Lobos' organization in 1995-1998. In 1999 my daughter turned 7 so I started coaching her soccer team for the Rec Center. In 2000-2004 I was coaching competitive girls soccer for the Trebol Soccer Club. In 2002-present I have been involved with the Lady Warriors organization. In 2003 Mark Sireno and I coached the 10u team for the first time, it was an eye opener. Instead of being the parent second guessing the coach, we were the coaches be second guess. Coaching wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. But I learned a lot that summer and we ended up have a successful season taking 2nd place in the June Bug and the Cheyenne Extreme. We also took 3rd place in the Spring Fling, Colorado Classic and the Memorial Day Classic. Our record was 30-19-2. In 2004 I coached the 12B with my assistant Steve Kinnett. We started off the season with a bang by going to Disney World and our team played well against some tuff "A" teams. The best part is how our team bonded in Disney! We had a great season, winning the Colorado Classic, 2nd place in the Flowers for Mothers Day, 3rd place in the Spring Fling. Our girls also took 3rd in USSSA State by coming back in the loser bracket and playing 4 games back to back in 100 degree weather. Our record for the season was 33-24-2. In 2005 I coached the 12A with Bob Bledsoe and John Maul. We went to Disney again and Arizona. We didn't win a game out of State, but made us better by playing great teams. Back in Colorado we become one of the top teams winning the Colorado Icicle, had an amazing comeback to win the Rage Rumble(Scored 7 runs in the last Inning), Greeley Stampede, Hall of Fame, and Triple Crown State tournaments. We also took 2nd place in ASA State and 3rd place in the Mountain Magic. Our Record for the season was 50-30-2. In 2006 I will be coaching the 14A a plan on having a successful and fun season. I will be also helping the 18C team to build a stronger team for my old school Centaurus High.
