Bob Bledsoe: I have been the Softball Coach at Erie High School since it's inception, 10 years ago. We have reached the Regional/State tourney the last nines years, the final four, eight of those nine years. We were 3rd in 1996, 2nd in 1999, and we were 1st in 1998, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 & 2004. We have had two undefeated seasons, in 1998 & 2001. Our record over the past nine years is 208-41.

We have had 18 different individuals earn All-State Honors during these 10 years. Fourteen of those girls have gone on to play softball in college. In 2001, we had the Honor of being ranked #3 in the Nation by the Student Sport Prep Magazine. I have been selected Colorado Softball Coach of the Year twice, was a finalist for National Softball Coach of the Year, Conference Softball Coach of the year 6 times, and have been nominated for National Softball Coach of the Year for 2003. In addition, I have had the privilege of coaching in 5 All-State games, CCGS games 3 times and the CHSSA game twice.

I have been in education for 30 years, and coached a wide variety of activities, including girls basketball and girls track, during those 30 years. I am married to my wife Tracy, and we have 2 children, Mariah and Bobby. Our hobbies, besides going to the kids activities are playing golf.
